I know, I know: it looks like s3xual body parts, only extra threatening. That's okay. It's not supposed to BE a particular thing, and I'm not trying to hurt you.

This blobby abstracted form is another #Amorphozoa sculpture, meant to be suggestive of a warm, cuddly creature, yet severely low-maintenance. I always saw this one as curved gently to the left with a 'mane' on top, but my partner alerted me to the fact that it also looks like it's moving quickly towards the right, with the hair flowing out behind it. Ah, #abstractsculpture is #intheeyeofthebeholder - we bring to it our own lifetime's experiences, views, and imaginings. That's why I love it so much.
