My recently completed kitchen for this spectacular house built from the ground up. The client gave me complete artistic freedom and fully trusted that I would give her family the timeless kitchen of her dreams. We designed classic cabinetry for her with the “Nina moulding” and eliminated all hardware for a touch latch system. for those of you who know me, you know my favorite concept is the “no kitchen kitchen”. The island was built using steel and is cantilevered to create the illusion of floating marble. Steps below⁣ ⁣ 1. This sink takes a beating. I clean my oven racks and water plants in this sink. So, first, I rinse out all the debris.⁣ ⁣ 2. Squirt liquid Bar Keepers Friend all over it.⁣ ⁣ 3. Brush the Bar Keepers Friend all over the sink and faucet with a clean wet sponge. Let it sit.⁣ ⁣ 4. Rinse the gunk out, and wipe sink and faucet with a wet microfiber cloth to remove all the residue. Rinse the cloth often and keep wiping until the cloth rinses clean. You do not need to scrub it, just wipe it.⁣ ⁣ 5. Every few months, I soak the faucet opening in a vinegar filled zip lock back to get rid of any calcium build up.⁣ ⁣ 6. Dump 2 cups of baking soda into the garbage disposal. Top with white vinegar and let it sit.⁣ ⁣ 7. Then, dump boiling hot water into the disposal, and run it a few seconds.⁣ ⁣ 8. Finish by buffing both the faucet and the sink with a dry microfiber cloth.⁣ ⁣ P.S. My sink is aged copper and my faucet is aged brass. I do not buff either of these into a shiny new finish.
